Welcome to the Breast Test Wales Learning Disability Information
For women with a learning disability, coming for screening can be a difficult and worrying time. It is very important that women attending for their breast screening appointment have information which can help them make a decision as to whether they would like to come for breast screening or not.
The following packs have been developed for community learning disability teams to work with women who have a learning disability to explain about breast screening and what it involves.
Breast Test Wales would like to thank all those, including the women and the professional agencies who provided advice and guidance in the making of the packs.
