Education for Professionals
The antenatal screening programme in Wales is supported by an annual training needs analysis, which is structured and coordinated by ASW, and by educational material developed by ASW to support in-service education provided by the antenatal screening coordinators and others.
A revised screening handbook has been published to support midwives providing antenatal screening in their role and provide a quick and easy reference to clinical information, screening pathways and voluntary sector contact details.
ASW have developed care pathways to support the Antenatal Screening Wales standards.
